چکیده
Background Pain following laparoscopic surgeries is a major concern that has been managed by several modalities with varying results. Ultrasound-Guided Transversus Abdominis Plane Block (TAPB) considered modality may help decrease postoperative pain and opioid consumption its related side effects which contribute to reduction of hospital stay improvement in functional recovery. Objective The aim this scoping review was demonstrate the efficacy ultrasound guided TAPB for relief effect on minimizing incidence effectsMethod This reported Preferred Reporting Items Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) extension guidelines. A search PubMed, Scopus, Web Science databases conducted. titles abstracts potentially relevant studies were screened before retrieval full texts, then examined determine met eligibility criteria (adult patients, receiving undergoing surgeries, English language, text articles surgeries)Results One hundred seventeen eligible identified. 98 records excluded as they either duplicates or did not meet leaving 19 articles. 13 found discussing intensity, most concluded provided superior when compared other methods. Most reviewed no significant difference nausea vomiting (PONV) quality recovery among patients who received TAPB.Conclusion suggests an effective technique analgesia surgeries. Further are required better elucidate patients’ due limited number reports these outcomes.
